The illegal armed formations from the beginning of January 21 just once violated ceasefire in the area of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO), Ukrainian servicemen were not injured, the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reported.
“From the beginning of the current day, as of 12:00, one case of a ceasefire violation by the armed forces of the Russian Federation in the Donetsk direction was recorded,” reads a report of the Defense Ministry in regard to the situation near JFO area.
Thus, the enemy shelled the positions of the Ukrainian defenders not far from Krasnohorivka of Donetsk region.
“There are no losses of our forces as a result of the shell attack by the enemy,” reads the report.
In addition, according to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Defense Ministry, the enemy continues to improve the engineering equipment of their positions along the contact line and deep into the temporarily occupied territory in Donetsk and Luhansk regions using anti-tank and anti-personnel mines.
